How is Beyond the Track run?
Beyond the Track is an initiative of New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing (NZTR) and forms part of our commitment to Thoroughbred welfare and responsible care throughout a horse's life.
NZTR manages the platform and works alongside the racing and equestrian communities, including owners, trainers, Acknowledged Providers, veterinarians, equestrian organisations, industry partners and Thoroughbred owners across New Zealand.
Beyond the Track doesn't replace the responsibility of those who own and care for Thoroughbreds. Instead, it provides the tools, education, connections and support to help people make informed and responsible decisions for their horses.
Caring for our Thoroughbreds beyond racing is a shared responsibility.
